Dr. Jordan Balaban is a lecturer in biology and joined the faculty in Fall 2021. He is a broadly trained comparative physiologist and has used techniques in muscle physiology and biomechanics to study how daily and seasonal shifts in environmental temperature impact muscle function from the tissue to the organismal level.
