Barnard College is pleased to offer students the opportunity to participate in a semester-long domestic exchange program with Spelman College, the historically Black women's college in Atlanta, Georgia. Barnard students studying at Spelman pay Spelman's rates for tuition, fees, room and board to Barnard.

Eligibility
- Student must currently be enrolled at Barnard College.
- Student must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- Student must have junior class standing at the time of enrollment at Spelman College.
- Student must be in good academic and disciplinary standing.
Application Process and Deadlines
- Students must meet with the Dean who oversees the Spelman exchange to discuss their plans for application.
- Applications to spend either a fall or spring term at Spelman College are due by February 15.
- Applications will be reviewed by a Barnard College Committee.
- Approved application will be forwarded to Spelman for final decision on March 1.
