McIntosh Activities Council is Barnard's programming board. We plan some of Barnard’s favorite traditions on campus, including Big Sub, Midnight Breakfast, the Emily Gregory Dinner, and Spirit Week!

Named for the first female professor at Columbia University, the Emily Gregory Award is Barnard's only student-nominated and selected teaching award. Each year, it acknowledges one Barnard faculty member for their teaching excellence and devotion to Barnard students. Nominations are submitted by students and selected by the Student-Faculty Committee of the Activities Council in conjunction with the Alumnae Association of Barnard College and the Office of College Activities.

In the Spring semester, McIntosh Activities Council hosts Barnard's Spirit Week: a three-day-long event with the goal of celebrating the community at Barnard and bringing students together.
