From June 16th to July 8th, CLIO's My Borrowing Account services will be offline, as Columbia Libraries migrates to a new cataloging system. During this time, users will encounter service interruptions in the process of borrowing, reserving, or holding a book.

Checkout

Book checkout will still be available at all Library locations (including Barnard), but transactions will not be visible in your online library records until after July 8th. Starting June 9, BorrowDirect and Interlibrary Loan requests will only be available for pickup at Butler, Health Sciences, and Avery Libraries. All other pickup services will continue as normal. 

Returns

Any materials that are returned to a Library service point between June 30th - July 8th will remain on the user’s account until our system transition is complete.

CU/BC ID Swipe is required to enter the Milstein Center building at all times as well as to exit the closed stairwells and use the elevator outside of Library Service Hours; please visit Accessing Barnard Campus for more information about whether and how you can access campus.
