Fall 2026 Opportunities Conference
At the Beyond Barnard Fall 2026 Opportunities Conference, employers will have the chance to hire from a community of 3,000 Barnard College undergraduates, as well as participating students from Columbia University. You'll also be able to participate in a day of conversation — with students, faculty, staff, alums, and fellow employer guests — centered on AI and the Future of Work. Join us on Friday, September 25!
Conference Registration
At the Fall 2026 Opportunities Conference, employers will engage Barnard students in a series of small group conversations, panels, and more. Employers can read the FAQs here and will register beginning May on Handshake.
Student registration will open in August. Please note that separate student registration is required for:

- Please note that all guests must arrive at the Main Gate (3009 Broadway). Names of all guests have been provided to Barnard CARES. Thank you for bringing photo ID!
- 10:00AM: Breakfast and Keynote Discussion: Well-Being and the Future of Work (LeFrak Theatre in Barnard Hall)
- 11:30AM: Latest recommended arrival for guests not attending the Keynote Discussion. Note that Employer Career Conversation locations are posted here.
- 12:00-3PM Career Conversations — Guests will receive information about the location of their Career Conversations (please remember that students have scheduled slots for 12PM, 12:30PM, 1PM, 1:30PM, and 2PM slots. The 2:30PM slot is reserved for walk-ins). Breaks are provided for lunch!
- 12:00-3PM: Guest lounge open (lunch and refreshments available) in Milstein Hall LL001
- 3PM: Event concludes

Conference Activities
Throughout the day, join Beyond Barnard staff for "Career GPS" — workshops designed to meet the career exploration needs of students across class years.
The format of the Beyond Barnard Career Conference is one of the most distinctive aspects of the event. Students have the chance to learn about opportunities and career paths from visiting employers, graduate institutions, and alumnae of the College.
