Fall 2026 Opportunities Conference

At the Beyond Barnard Fall 2026 Opportunities Conference, employers will have the chance to hire from a community of 3,000 Barnard College undergraduates, as well as participating students from Columbia University. You'll also be able to participate in a day of conversation — with students, faculty, staff, alums, and fellow employer guests — centered on the liberal arts and careers in the age of AI. Join us on Friday, September 25!

Conference Registration

At the Fall 2026 Opportunities Conference, employers will engage Barnard students in a series of small group conversations, panels, and more. Employer registration is now open in Handshake.

Student registration will open in August. Please note that separate registration is required for the conference itself and for Career Conversations.

For the first time in 2026, Leadership Assembly will take place on the same day as the Opportunities Conference! Throughout the day, alumnae of Barnard College will be able to move back and forth between these simultaneous marquee volunteer events.

The format of the Beyond Barnard Career Conference is one of the most distinctive aspects of the event. Students have the chance to learn about opportunities and career paths from visiting employers, graduate institutions, and alumnae of the College.
