MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS WALKING TOUR
With guidance from the Office of Community Engagement and Inclusion, wander through one of New York City’s most historic neighborhoods at your own pace. This self-guided tour highlights grand landmarks, quiet gardens, and striking sculptures — inviting you to simply enjoy the beauty, history, and character of Morningside Heights as you go. WEAVING DREAMS EXHIBITION | Milstein Center, 1st Floor
Inspired by Zora Neale Hurston’s legacy and idea of “dream weaving,” this exhibition showcases handmade quilts and other textile artifacts from Dr. Kim F. Hall, Lucyle Hook Professor of English and Professor of Africana Studies, her mother Vera P. Hall, and Carter Watts ’25. The show invites viewers to engage with and contribute to a variety of textile works that reflect the experiences of Black women in academia across many generations. INTERNET ACCESS
Visitors may connect to the “Barnard Guest” wireless network, which is available in most locations on campus. The network does not require a login to connect and provides restricted, unsecured guest wireless internet.
LOST AND FOUND
Please do not leave personal belongings unattended. You may report any lost or found items to the Family Weekend team in person at the Check-In & Information Center or via email at familyweekend@barnard.edu. Any items not claimed during Family Weekend will be turned over to Community Accountability, Response, and Emergency Services (CARES) Response after the event. To submit an inquiry about an item that may have been left behind, please email lostandfound@barnard.edu or call the CARES Line (Non-Emergency) at (212) 854-3362.
RESTROOMS
Women’s restrooms are located on the 3rd floor of Barnard Hall, the lower level and 1st through 4th floors of the Milstein Center, the lower level of the Diana Center, and the 1st floor of Milbank Hall. Men’s restrooms are located on the 3rd floor of Barnard Hall, the lower level of the Diana Center, and the 1st floor of Milbank Hall. All-gender restrooms are located on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th floors of Barnard Hall, in the Admissions Visitor Center in Sulzberger Annex, on the lower level and 1st through 4th floors of the Milstein Center, on the 5th floor of the Diana Center, and on the 1st floor of Milbank Hall. Please note that the restrooms in the Milstein Center are the most wheelchair-accessible.

HEWITT DINING | Barnard Hall, Basement Level
Friday, 7:30 – 10 a.m., 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., and 4:30 – 8 p.m.
Saturday, 10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. and 4:30 – 8 p.m.
Hewitt Dining offers a number of stations with tasty rotating cuisine, including pizza and pasta, grill specialties, homestyle comfort food, and a dedicated allergen-conscious section as well as soups made daily, a salad bar, and desserts. All meat is certified Halal. At Hewitt Dining, you will also find Barnard Kosher, offering freshly prepared kosher meals (closed Friday evening and Saturday).

The Diana Center Café offers a variety of made-to-order and grab-and-go cuisine, including vegetarian bowls, smoothies, grill specialties, salads, daily soups, pizza, and a wide selection of snacks and beverages.

Liz’s Place features a full line of made-to-order coffee and tea beverages, fresh pastries, breakfast sandwiches, grab-and-go sandwiches and salads, snacks, and convenience items. Kosher grab-and-go options are also available.
