Major and Minor coursework abroad

Courses taken for major or minor requirements abroad must be approved by the chair or designated study abroad faculty liaison of the relevant department. Students are encouraged to meet with their major advisor and department chair to discuss the fulfillment of major/minor requirements on their study abroad program. Please consult academics abroad to learn more about Barnard's guidelines for study abroad credit transfer.

Students may also find it helpful to speak with other students from their major. Contact a student returnee to learn more about their experience and help plan for yours.

Use the advanced search option to filter programs using the "Areas of Study Offered" to search for programs offered in your subject area.
