Barnard and Partner Conferences
For Barnard departments, staff, faculty, and Barnard-led partnerships planning a residential summer conference or program on campus.
The Barnard MasterScholar Summer Research Program is a highly selective, interdisciplinary summer research experience for high school students seeking a rigorous pre-college academic program while living and learning on Barnard’s campus in Manhattan. Built around college-level research training, students combine subject areas across STEM, the arts, and the humanities into an original research topic, supported by small seminar-style classes taught by faculty, expert guest lecturers, and a dedicated team of teaching assistants.
Upon completion, students receive a program completion certificate and an official course grade from program faculty.
Program Dates: July 19 to August 8, 2026
