Summer 2022 Information:
The Primary Care Health Services will be closed for ALL CLINICAL services starting at 5:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2022 until 9:30 am Monday, June 6, 2022.

After hours clinician on call, Fonemed, will also not be in service during this time

The PCHS office will be open for administrative duties only during this two week period

Starting Monday, June 6, 2022 through Friday, August 12, 2022, PCHS will be open for all clinical services for all residential students and those who are enrolled in summer session and paid the comprehensive fee

PCHS Summer hours are:

Monday through Thursday: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

Fridays: 9:30 am to 1:00 pm

The after hours clinician on call, Fonemed, is only available after PCHS operating hours, and only for summer enrolled students

For summer enrolled students, starting June 6, 2022, for after-hours emergencies (after business hours & weekends), call the Clinician on Call. This number is NOT to report a +COVID test result, to make an appointment at PCHS, or to find out about hours of operation and location of PCHS. Please see the links below for information. Our care encompasses a wide range of general services, with a particular emphasis on the developmental needs of college-aged women.
You may be seen at the Primary Care Health Service by appointment only. All patients must wear a mask to be seen at the PCHS.

Appointment Types
Urgent Care visits are for urgent medical issues.
Some examples of common urgent care issues are: sore throat, sinus infection, allergy symptoms, urgent sexually transmitted infection concerns, urinary tract infection, yeast infection, sprained ankle, back pain, cold/virus symptoms, and cough.
- Length: Approximately 20 - 30 minutes
- Availability: Monday – Wednesday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Thursday 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM - 6:00 PM, Friday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Scheduling: Can only be made via phone
GYN visits are for routine annual exams, routine STI screening, or on-going menstrual, vaginal or urinary problems.
- Length: 40 minutes.
- Scheduling: Can schedule via phone or in person.
Medical visits are for on-going/chronic medical issues, referral requests, and follow ups.
- Length: 30 minutes
- Scheduling: Can schedule via phone or in person.
Physical Exam and/or Form Completion visits are for annual physical exams, forms for study abroad, internships, or medical clearances.
- Length: 60 minutes
- Scheduling: Can schedule via phone or in person.
- We suggest that you bring a copy of your most recent vaccination record with you to your Physical Exam and/or Form Completion appointment.
- Please note that this type of appointment is necessary for any form completion regardless of length of form
PPD Placement or Reading appointments are for tuberculosis screening.
- Length: 10 minutes
- Scheduling: Can schedule via phone or in person.
Nutrition appointments offer opportunity to learn more about healthy eating, to discuss food allergies and sensitivities, to create plans for navigating the cafeteria or your own kitchen, and to address any eating concerns.

Appointments cannot be canceled via:

All students must bring their insurance card (either the physical card or a print out of the front and back of the card) every time they visit the PCHS.
You must wear a mask to be seen at the PCHS.
There is no co-pay or visit fee at the PCHS.
However, the PCHS does charge for medication, vaccines and medical supplies which must be paid for at the time of the visit via credit card or check.
