Events Management coordinates the scheduling of on-campus events and activities in event spaces. The Registrar’s Office is responsible for assigning classrooms for instructional purposes. After the academic class schedule is set, Events Management is responsible for coordinating events and activities in classrooms.
To maximize the success of events and meet fulfillment schedules, we ask that arrangements, including set-up needs, audiovisual equipment and support requirements, and security needs, be made with Events Management at least 14 days prior to the event. We ask that designees for GBB-Recognized Clubs and Organizations submit event requestes a minimum of 28 days prior to the proposed event for planning purposes. If a meeting room is needed, and no additional resources, including facility set-up, audiovisual, security, or catering are required, we facilitate requests online up to three days prior to the event.
Requests with less notice than outlined above cannot be made online. Please contact Events Management directly at 212.854.8021. We understand that last minute arrangements are sometimes necessary and work to facilitate the requests based on available resources.
After arrangements are finalized, the event organizer will receive an online event confirmation which includes the date, time, and location of the event as well as other related information.
