Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Fellowship

The Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Fellowship is an opportunity for students to participate in an eleven-week summer program designed to provide: exposure to the current status and challenges of, global health and health disparities research, training in qualitative and quantitative research methods, hands-on experience conducting mentored research, and career and graduate admissions counseling. The program begins with two weeks of training at in New York, continues in an eight-week placement at one of three international training sites (in the Dominican Republic, Kazakhstan, or Swaziland), and culminates in a wrap-up week in New York. The fellowship provides for travel expenses, housing, and living expenses throughout, as well as a monthly stipend of $1200.
