On September 16, 2024, 14 Barnard College faculty members were celebrated for ranking among the top 2% of the most-cited science authors worldwide, with some earning spots in the top 1%. Their achievements are highlighted in the latest edition of the report “Updated Science-Wide Author Databases of Standardized Citation Indicators,” published by the global information analytics company Elsevier.
Inclusion on this list indicates that a scientist has made significant contributions to the advancement of their field throughout their career.
