2025 Available Suites & Rooms and Lottery Numbers (Google Sheet)
You must be logged into gBear to access the links.  If you are logged into a personal GMail account, you will NOT be able to access the Google Sheet.

  • Shows suites that can be picked in the 4, 5, & 6 Lottery and rooms that can be picked in the 123 Lottery.
  • The Sheet will update every 10 minutes during each Lottery to show what spaces are still available.
  • If a room/suite is not listed on the Google Sheet, that means that it is not available in the Lottery.
  • Spaces may be assigned before the Lottery to RAs, CARDS accommodations, reserved to balance the BC/CU Housing Exchange, or reserved for FY students, etc.
  • The Google Sheet will also show the number of groups forming for each stage of the Lottery (and what groups pick during the Lottery).

Previous Years' Lottery Data

You must be logged into gBear to access the links.  If you are logged into a personal GMail account, you will NOT be able to access the Google Sheets.

Typical Lottery Picks by Class Year

Students classified with 400 points pick first in each Lottery.

You can check the Google Sheets linked above to see what students and/or groups with 400 points have picked in the past; however, there is no guarantee that the same rooms & suites can be picked this year.

4, 5, and 6 Lottery

  • Historically there have been enough suites available in each Lottery for every 400-point Group to be able to pick.
  • However, desired suite configurations or locations may be completely picked before Groups' Selection Times start.
  • There are a limited number of suites with all Single rooms. Those suites tend to be picked first and run out before all 400-point Groups have a chance to select.
  • Groups may only be able to pick a Suite with one or more Double rooms.

123 Lottery

  • Historically there have been enough Single rooms for every 400-point student to have the option to pick a Single.
  • Howver, desired locations may be completely picked before students' Selection Times start.
  • Singles in Sulz Tower tend to be picked first and run out before every 400-point student has a chance to select.

Students classified with 300+ points pick after students with 400 points in each Lottery.

You can check the Google Sheets linked above to see what students and/or groups with 300+ points have picked in the past; however, there is no guarantee that the same rooms & suites can be picked this year.

4, 5, and 6 Lottery

  • Historically there have been enough suites available in each Lottery for every 300+ point Group to have an option to pick.
  • However, desired suite configurations or locations may be completely picked before Groups' Selection Times start.
  • Suites made up of only Single rooms tend completely picked by 400-point Groups. That means that Groups with 300+ points typically will only be able to pick Suites with one or more Double rooms.

123 Lottery

  • All of the Single rooms may be picked before the last 300-point student's Selection Time starts.
  • Desired locations may be completely picked before students' Selection Times start.
  • Students may only be able to pick into Doubles or Triples (which would require a Group).
  • Students who did not form a group by the Priority Deadline can do the 123 Lottery Regroup.

Students classified with 200 points will pick after students with 400 or 300 points in each Lottery.

You can check the Google Sheets linked above to see what students and/or groups with 200+ points have picked in the past; however, there is no guarantee that the same rooms & suites can be picked this year.

4, 5, and 6 Lottery

  • Historically more groups form than the number of available suites in each Lottery.
  • Desired suite configurations or locations may be completely picked before Groups' Selection Times start.
  • Suites with Single rooms tend to be picked first by 400 and 300+ Point Groups. That means that 200+ Point Groups may only be able to pick suites with all or mostly Double rooms.
  • All of the suites may be picked before a Group's Selection Time starts. That is especially the case in the 4 and 5 Lottery due to the smaller number of available suites. Students may need to regroup for a later Suite Lottery or take part in the 123 Lottery.

123 Lottery

  • Typically all of the Single Rooms are picked before 300+ point Selection Times end
  • Students may only be able to pick into Double or Triple rooms, which requires being in a Group.
  • Students who did not form a group by the Priority Deadline can do the 123 Lottery Regroup.
  • All of the Double & Triple rooms may be picked before the Selection Times end.
  • Students who are not able to pick a room (or do not want to pick from what is available) will submit the Guaranteed List form to be assigned to a room over the summer (around 100-200 students per year).
