Projects for Peace

Projects for Peace is an initiative for all undergraduate students currently enrolled at a participating Davis United World College Scholars Program partner schools (including Barnard) to design grassroots projects to be carried over during the summer, anywhere in the world, which promote peace and address the root causes of conflict among parties. They encourage applicants to use their creativity to design projects and employ innovative techniques for engaging project participants in ways that focus on conflict resolution, reconciliation, building understanding and breaking down barriers which cause conflict, and finding solutions for resolving conflict and maintaining peace. Selected projects receive $10,000 of funding.

**Important Campus Process Information**

Please note that this program requires Barnard nomination and includes a campus process with deadlines prior to the national deadline. Campus deadlines to submit a completed application are typically 1-2 months ahead of national deadlines.
