Join us for a webinar on financial planning in your later years. Drawing from her expertise in helping individuals and families prepare for their later years, Michelle Friedman ’74, MD, will share ways that you and loved ones can plan for anticipated changes, take control, and honor deeply held values.
Michelle will highlight important topics such as autonomy, decision making, and advance care directives, and share strategies such as how to start and sustain these conversations and how to take specific steps to codify important choices.
She will cover:
- Why are advance directives important for adults of all ages?
- How much right do people have to make what others consider to be bad decisions?
- What is the difference between a living will and a healthcare proxy?
- What is hospice and how does it differ from other medical care?
