Lisa Edstrom joined the faculty at Barnard in 2006-2007 as a supervisor for student teachers in the Education Program. In 2008, she became the program's Certification Officer, guiding students through the NYS teacher certification process. Her teaching specialties include elementary education, urban education, and mathematics education. Her research focuses on public school parent activism and teacher education.
