This fall, the New Languages Initiative introduced four new world language courses to Foundations: American Sign Language (ASL), Chinese, Korean, and Italian — introducing students to new perspectives and cultures while broadening their educational experience.

Students, alumnae, and employers joined together on Sept. 26 for the 2025 Opportunities Conference to forge a path for the next generation of Barnard leaders. 

The Barnard community came together for Giving Day raising more than $1.47 million in 24 hours, ensuring future generations of women can have access to a high-quality Barnard education.
