Aaron Kinard, Manager of Printing and Auxiliary Services, shares insights on overcoming our fears. Anne Higonnet, Ann Whitney Olin Professor of Art History, gives us the back story of her popular course History of Clothing, and Jamiyla Chisholm, Communications Director of Creative Content, shares her own story of writing her memoir. In the second presentation of Barnard Pro Tip, Barnard staff and faculty share their learnings with their college community. Tara Well, an Associate Professor of Psychology, leverages her research in personality psychology to demystify small talk. Rachel James, Senior Associate Director of IMATS & Sloate Media Center, gives us the tools she uses in approaching the writing process for a screenplay, and Cynthia Yang, Associate Vice President and Special advisor to the President, shares her experience with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a way to move through uncomfortable situations and feelings.
