On April 23, Harvard University's Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics published the white paper "Toward Global Pandemic Resilience," written by seven contributors, including Barnard professors of economics Belinda Archibong and Rajiv Sethi. In this white paper, their 11th, Archibong and Sethi provide information for how governments can safely transition out of the COVID-19 crisis and support their communities in the process. After studying strategies implemented in India, Africa, and Latin America, the writers consider how the United States can continue to navigate life in isolation and how to transition back into work and social activity.
