In Fall 2022, Barnard College, Columbia University and Teachers College partnered to create a series of faculty networking programming called TCUB Connects, featuring faculty research collaborations and diversity initiatives across Columbia's schools.

1. TCUB Connects: Explore Collaboration Opportunities on November 03, 2022 @ CU: Teachers College President, Thomas Bailey, Barnard College Provost, Linda Bell, Columbia University EVP for Research, Jeannette Wing, and Senior Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement, Dennis Mitchell, present TCUB Connects. This event will highlight Teachers College and Barnard College’s research expertise in the areas of education, psychology and health, showcase successful collaborations across the three campuses, and provide networking opportunities for both early career and senior faculty during a poster session and reception. With federal agencies and foundations’ increased emphasis on innovative interdisciplinary research, DEI, and workforce development that impact society, this event will create new opportunities for collaborations and community building between faculty at Teachers College, Barnard College, and Columbia University to expand the intellectual merit and broader impacts of their work. 2. TCUB Connects: Engaged Scholarship on March 30, 2023 @ BC: Barnard College, Columbia University and Teachers College have partnered to create a series of faculty networking programming called TCUB Connects, featuring faculty research collaborations and diversity initiatives across Columbia's schools. In the Spring of 2023, Barnard hosted the event featuring a panel of faculty focused on engaged scholarship from each school. The event featured a panel of faculty participating in engaged scholarship from each school including Hiba Bou Akar (CU), Nara Milanich (BC), and Sonali Rajan (TC), moderated by Vice Provost for the Fourth Purpose and Strategic Impact, Sam Sia. The panel was followed by faculty-led roundtables on teaching and researching that engage community partners in the process of social, civic and ethical impact. Faculty facilitators include: Debbie Becher (BC), Mara Green (BC), M. Katherine Shear (CU), Gil Zussman (CU), Limarys Caraballo (TC) and Michelle Troche (TC).
