Funding & Sponsored Research for Faculty
Introduction
Institutional Funding and Sponsored Research are responsible for all grant applications submitted by Barnard College and/or its faculty members to foundation, corporate, and government sources.
Our team provides support in the entire application process.

We research and identify funding opportunities tailored to specific faculty or program needs.

We maintain collegial relationships with key staff at foundations and program officers in government funding agencies.

We work with faculty and administration to strategize applications and develop strong proposals that comply with government and foundation criteria.

We assist in developing tight budgets and gathering required documentation.

We usually place the final submission.

Post-award, we continue to provide guidance in compliance issues.

We help to complete interim and final reports.
We publish a newsletter and maintain a Grants Calendar, both of which can be found on the Barnard website, along with other policy documents and forms required for compliance.
