Deborah Lovich ’89, MBA, Senior Partner and Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group; head of BCG's Future of Work initiative
Debbie Lovich is a Managing Director & Senior Partner in the Boston office of BCG. She is a global thought leader on the Future of Work as well as leadership, culture, and broader people topics. She is also a fellow in BCG's Henderson Institute (BCG Think Tank). Debbie has published extensively in Forbes, has written several HBR articles, and spoken for TED. She works with global clients across industries and settings to make work better for all employees. Her work includes: Co-creating future-forward work models to improve productivity and joy; Addressing the human side of large-scale change, post-merger integration, and digital transformation; Front line / deskless worker programs that tap into the best performers to enable their peers. As part of her practice, Debbie launched BCG's leadership coaching/ advisory offering that has >45 former c-suite executives coaching/advising executives and their teams to deliver organizational priorities. Fifteen years ago, Debbie collaborated with an HBS professor to design and globally implement an internal BCG program called "PTO" (Predictability, Teaming and Open Communication). This transformed BCG's own ways of working and culture. It has been a key reason why BCG is consistently recognized as one of the best places to work.
Debbie has a BA summa cum laude/Phi Beta Kappa in economics from Barnard College of Columbia University, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Irene Dankwa Mullan ’92, MD MPH, Chief Health Officer, Marti Health
Dr. Irene Dankwa-Mullan is a physician executive and global health thought leader with deep expertise in healthcare technology innovation, data science, evaluation and implementation. She is Chief Health Officer at Marti Health, a digital health equity startup transforming care for patients, and CEO of Protea Global Solutions, advancing ethical AI and health access globally. With a distinguished career spanning roles at the National Institutes of Health and IBM, where she served as Chief Health Equity Officer, and Deputy Chief Health Officer, Dr. Dankwa-Mullan has led initiatives at the intersection of science, health equity, and technology innovation. She advises global health tech startups, serves on healthcare technology advisory boards and guest lectures at the George Washington University, Washington D.C. An author of over 90 publications and lead editor, author of authoritative scientific textbook: The Science of Health Disparities Research, she is committed to building equitable, community-centered health systems rooted in technology innovation and compassion.
Maria Ryan ’85, DDS, PhD, Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer, Colgate-Palmolive
Maria Emanuel Ryan, DDS, PhD is Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer at the Colgate-Palmolive Company where she provides oversight and leadership to dental and dermal clinical organizations, knowledge management and scientific communications teams. Dr. Ryan previously served as Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral Biology and Pathology at Stony Brook University where she was actively involved in teaching, clinical practice and research. She is the Past President of the American Association for Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR) and has served on many academic and foundation boards including the Board of Trustees of her alma mater Barnard College. Dr. Ryan has received numerous awards
including NIH National Research Service Awards and a Physician Scientist Award. She received an achievement award from the American Dental Association and was the first recipient of the Victress Health Award to recognize her educational and research efforts in the area of women’s health. Dr. Ryan is a nationally and internationally known speaker and author who has appeared on multiple media outlets to discuss the importance of oral health to overall health and wellbeing as well as the role of the dental professional in the provision of optimal overall health care.
