Accessibility is everyone's responsibility, and Accessibility Week is a week of community-wide programming focused on disability inclusion and social justice.

Join us for the Disability (Research) Salon during Accessibility Week, the week of April 7th! Students will have the opportunity to present research or thesis related to disability studies or lived experiences with disability/chronic illness and then engage in discussion with the community.
Opening remarks and facilitation will be provided by Prof Mara Green, Anthropology and instructor of the Disability course taught in the Fall 2023 & 2024 Semesters.

We’d also like to highlight the Crip Shelves Reading Group, a student-led initiative supported by the CEP.
Come join us for the second meeting (March 23rd) of our new monthly Crip Shelves Reading Group! Students, faculty, and staff will meet to discuss readings concerning critical disability studies, especially those which emphasize care work and engaged pedagogy. This month's reading is Making Sense: Language, Ethics, and Understanding in Deaf Nepal by our very own Barnard linguistic anthropologist, E. Mara Green!
