We invite you to enjoy an encore performance of a new virtual work created by faculty member Caroline Fermin’s “Rehearsal and Performance in Dance” course this semester. You may access the recording of the performance here.
You may also learn more about the ways in which faculty and students are adapting to a virtual medium in the study and performance of dance by viewing this “Fall 2020 Welcome to Class: Dance Modern Technique” video, featuring faculty member Colleen Thomas-Young. She highlights the pedagogical benefits of immersive courses, the use of technology for one-on-one coaching, and the opportunity to engage with artists from around the world.

Come hear from Barnard students and MJ Murphy, Executive Director of Student Health and Wellness Programs, who will share how Barnard is keeping health and wellness at the forefront within our virtual community.
The panel will discuss how we have adapted our programming for virtual living and learning and to meet the added stressors the pandemic has put on our students. Despite these challenging times, Barnard aims to promote self-care and well-being, helping Barnard students pursue “their wellness, their way” from wherever they may be.
