- This handbook includes everything from onboarding information to things to include on your syllabus.
Production Guidelines for Directors
- This guide for adjunct/visiting directors offers insight into all aspects of the process, from design and rehearsal through grading.
Adjunct faculty can find detailed instructions on printing in Milbank Hall in this document.
For acting and directing classes, students can reserve rehearsal space in Milbank 229 by using the google calendar that Mike Banta will distribute early in the semester for this purpose. At busy times of the semester additional classroom rehearsal space may be booked. In general MLP and the GMT are not available for class project rehearsals.
Students in acting and directing classes are welcome (and encouraged!) to borrow props and costumes from the department stock.
Please refer to this document to learn about procedures for borrowing these items, and who to contact.
Both Milbank 229 and the Glicker-Milstein Theatre (GMT) are equipped with sound and video capabilities. Please find detailed instructions for each space in the documents linked below.
Please use this document as a template when planning/proposing an event for the department. In the doc, you will find questions about staffing, publicity, space, catering and more. This is necessary information on the administrative side, for everything from panels to performances. Please email kpurdum@barnard.edu with any questions!
