Reunion Reflections

By Susan Seigle ’67

Held on the sunny weekend of May 28–31, Reunion celebrated all things Barnard and the momentous culmination of the College’s quasquicentennial, or 125th anniversary. A commemorative cocktail (recipe on page 53) and cookie added to the festivities. The Reunion committee, chaired by Merri Rosenberg ’78, presented a multifaceted program of talks, tours, and workshops, interspersed with gatherings over tea and meals and at receptions, giving alumnae the chance to connect and catch up. Milestone reunions were observed by the “0” and “5” classes, whose leaders organized events capturing each class’s traditions. In all, nearly 1,300 alumnae representing the Classes of 1937 to 2014 (and their guests) returned to campus to enjoy a jam-packed weekend in New York City.
