Nearly one year has passed since the premiere of producer and musician Aaron Cohen's podcast Embrace Everything: The World of Gustav Mahler. The first season of the podcast dedicated four episodes to understanding Mahler's First Symphony, including commentary from music scholar and adjunct assistant professor of music Marilyn McCoy. McCoy can be heard as a guest on all four movements of the symphony, and also served as a musical and scholarly consultant for the project. The professor offers a long professional engagement with the life and music of the acclaimed Romantic composer, having delivered concert lectures on him in the past.

Once again using the composer's birthday as a launch date, the podcast's second season, Rise Again, will premiere on July 7. Five new episodes will be available on all major streaming platforms, technically and thematically unpacking Mahler's Second Symphony, movement-by-movement. New York radio station WQXR will feature an edited version of the new season on the day of its premiere at 8 pm (ET).

More details and a trailer for Season Two: Rise Again can be found on the podcast's website
