George Van Amson (GVA) Service Fellowship

The George Van Amson (GVA) Service Fellowship is open to Columbia undergraduates who are interested in becoming part of a larger community committed to social justice, civic engagement, and service learning, ultimately deepening their understanding of social change while developing professionally. The GVA Service Fellowships are suited for applicants who: have already secured a nonprofit internship in New York this summer; are interested in proposing a summer project to benefit Community Impact, or are interested in working with a professor to develop a service learning component for their class. Funded by Community Impact, Fellows receive sponsored summer housing and a $3,000 stipend to support an unpaid nonprofit or service learning fellowship.
