Alicia Peaker joins the Barnard Library as Digital Scholarship Librarian. Alicia comes to Barnard from Bryn Mawr College where she served as the Director of Digital Scholarship, Critical Making, and Digital Collections Management.
We also welcome Brendane Taylor, our first ever Collections Strategy Graduate Assistant! Brendane is a Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellow in the PhD program in Anthropology at Columbia University.

On March 4, Zine Librarian Jenna Freedman joined zine makers Haley Bossé and Andrew Cornell at Williams College to discuss zines and the place of zines in higher education and libraries.
On March 14, Global Studies Librarian Vani Natarajan conducted the “Citation as Liberation: Building Collective Bibliographies with Zotero” Workshop at the Weeksville Heritage Center.

Art & Architecture librarian Meredith Wisner has taught two courses on copyright
for digital projects so far this spring. These sessions give students an understanding of intellectual property, copyright, and fair use in an online publishing context.
