Explorers Series - Spring 2024 Topics

All in-person Barnard|Next participants in Spring 2024 gain access to faculty-led breakout sessions, keynote conversations featuring exciting Barnard alumnae voices, and opportunities to network and connect across our incredible community.

(Re)Connect with the Barnard Intellectual and Social Community

During the inaugural season of Barnard|Next, all in-person participants will have access to:

  • Exciting Saturdays (May 18 and June 22) of lecture- and discussion-based sessions led by full-time Barnard faculty (you’ll choose one morning and one afternoon session each Saturday)
  • Networking meals and receptions each Saturday: valuable opportunities to connect with individuals across the dynamic Barnard community
  • An Opening Keynote Conversation between Anna Quindlen ’74 and Provost & Dean of the Faculty Linda A. Bell on the first Saturday (April 20)
  • “The Practitioners Discussion” with Michel Martin P'26 on the last Saturday (June 22) featuring Margaret Morton ’82, Reena Jana ’91, and Emma Wolfe ’01

Our goal is to provide an intensive (re)introduction to the ideas and relationships at the core of the Barnard experience. In Spring 2024, Barnard|Next’s inaugural Explorers Series is open to Barnard alumnae (and their invitees), families of current Barnard students, and other friends of Barnard College. Barnard|Next will expand its offerings and audiences beginning in Fall 2024. Questions about Barnard|Next can be sent to barnardnext@barnard.edu.
